Given our short history as a metropolis compared to other cities, Houston buildings don't have to be that old to qualify as historic; particularly when they are facing a date with the wrecking crew. Now that Macy's is closing its iconic Downtown store and the box-shaped structure's days are numbered, enjoy the Sears Store in Midtown as long as you still can.
