MICKEY LELAND FEDERAL BUILDING
This building was named to honor the Houston-area
congressman who perished in a plane crash in Africa while on an official visit
there related to his commitment to famine relief and food aid. See project description for Mickey Leland Building upgrades (Block 916).
The building is probably best known to the public for the
passport office, but it houses numerous other federal agencies, including the
EEOC.
