1000 Main Office Tower in Downtown Houston - Main Street Corridor at McKinney
Previously known as  Reliant Energy Plaza, this 36-tower in Downtown 
Houston was built in 2004.

12/22/14 UPDATE: The Houston Business Journal reports in its Dec 12-18, 2014 edition that the tower was sold at a record price of $537 per square foot or about $450 million to LaSalle Investment Management, which is based in Chicago. The previous record was set by the sale of the Hess Tower in 2011. Both buildings were designed by Gensler.

6/17/13 UPDATE: According to a short item in the June 17, 2013 edition of the Houston Chronicle, Transwestern has obtained LEED Gold Certification for 1000 Main from the U.S. Green Building Council in the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Existing Buildings.
